WIP - Kyrin Sumaiyah

Hello everyone,

Sorry for the absent but I just started the new semester of college, so it had been a few hectic weeks. I haven't got a chance to continue my reborning hobby till today when I had a little free time to continue rooting Kyrin's head which had been put away for few weeks. I'm done with the back section of the head, so only the top and sides section are left. I'm using CORA's rooting tutorial/class, so when once I'm done  , the professor on CORA will inspect the head to see if I'm qualified to receive the class crest. So I'm really excited to finish this little one's rooting and gain one crest on CORA!

New Header!

I've been spending my late night designing banners for my YouTube channel and the blog. As you can see we have a brand new header! 

The old header was a little too simple and plain. It was basically based on colour and just a little border. The new one is still simple but much more cuter and eye catching!

This is the old header.

The new header that I design was inspired by this little profile picture that I made for YouTube. I'm in love the this picture of Kyrin. It's just so darn cute!

From there it became this: 

The first design didn't matched the whole "Amethyst" theme. So, I tweaked the colour setting and...

it became this! So this our new blog's header! Isn't it cute? The design reminds me of candy wrappers

I hope you guys like the new header as much as I do!

I also upgraded my YouTube page. The upgraded version on YouTube has this new feature where you can upload picture as the channel header or as what they call the channel art. So here is mine.

It's really simple but really informative as it has my channel's name and links to both of my blog and Facebook Page. You can download it to use as a template to make your own channel art/header. Happy designing people!

WIP - Xaviera Aurora

Here are some WIP pictures of little Ember. More layers to go but have to put a hold on the work because I ran out of the odourless thinner. Already ordered online but probably going to take few days before it arrived. I also have created a page on Facebook. It's really new but I have posted some pictures over there. Start fresh

Remember this little cutie? I got so frustrated trying to fix her skin tone colour and now she is all but a fresh blank kit! I just got her head free of paint but still need to clean up those in the ears creases. Once she is all done with the paint stripping, I'm going to give her a hot soapy bath and then a new fresh paint! Will upload her work in progress pictures here but that would have to wait for a few days as I need time to relax and breath in the fresh air..

Londyn by Denise Pratt

I have this beautiful Bountiful Baby kit, Londyn by Denise Pratt and I tell you,  it's a beautiful detailed kit! I'm in love with her chubby legs and fat rolls! lol  Denise has out done herself with this kit! It's beautiful and precious! I'm really excited to paint this kit, I think I'm going to paint it with Asian skin tone using  Marlen's Asian Skin tone class on CORA forum. I also snapped a few pictures of the blank kit to show you guys the beautiful detailed kit.

A Work In Progress

This is the current baby that I'm working on.. I also have another kit to paint but I just really need to get this baby done. I'm rooting her head with black wavy mohair, just can't wait to fill those empty sections! Here are some snap shots of the baby, she is the Ember sculpt by Tasha Edenholm.

Kyrin Sumaiyah

I'm really excited to try this new hobby, so I bought a starter kit from HunnyBuns Reborn which I really recommend if you want to start this kind of art. So, here are some of the pictures that I snapped of my first baby. Her name is Kyrin Sumaiyah from the Kyrin sculpt by Stephanie Sullivan.
